China may double solar goal

I do really wonder that they hope to realize things by 2015.

(Reuters) - China may double its target for photovoltaic power capacity over the next five years in the wake of Japan's nuclear crisis, the official China Securities Journal reported on Wednesday.

Citing unnamed sources, the newspaper said the government may be looking at a new target of having installed capacity of 10 gigawatts (GW) of PV power by 2015, up from its existing target of 5 GW.

China is the world's largest exporter of photovoltaic products and home to some of the industry's top players, such as Trina Solar, JA Solar, Suntech Power and LDK Solar.

The China Electricity Council (CEC), an industry body, has asked the government to lower its nuclear capacity target for 2020 and scale back reactor construction in interior regions, the China Business News reported on Monday.

China was again the world leader in clean-energy investment last year, ahead of Germany and the United States, according to a report by the Pew Charitable Trusts released this week.

The true truth?

Do we know it?

Do we have people nearby to share it with?

Who deserves the truth to be shared with?

Can we in the 21 century to claim that we stand close to the truth or not?

In the old times Sir Francis Bacon: the founder of the Induction Method in Science as well as of the other interesting and very interesting disciplines, magnificently depicted how moral climate affects onto spreading of the truth e.g. true philosophy:

But howsoever the works of wisdom are among human things the most excellent, yet they too have their periods and closes. For so it is that after kingdoms and commonwealths have flourished for a time, there arise perturbations and seditious and wars; amid the uproars of which, first the laws are put to silence, and then men return to the depraved conditions of their nature, and desolation is seen in the fields and cities. And if such troubles last, it is not long before letters also and philosophy are so torn in pieces that no traces of them can be found but a few fragments, scattered here and there like planks from a shipwreck; and then a season of barbarism sets in, the waters of Helicon being sunk under the ground, until, according to the appointed vicissitude of things, they break out and issue forth again, perhaps among other nations, and not in the places where they were before.

By the way, to my very great surprise (I just want to share honestly my impressions) the 450th anniversary of Sir Francis Bacon's birthday was not marked by serious public events in England directed at commemoration of His great heritage, the heritage which made England so strong and so powerful among the nations of the world; just few seminars were held, some few meetings etc, unbelievable is not it? Who knows, maybe that is the sign that the waters of Helicon are vanishing from some places? In my view Mankind should pay some respect to those who opened the doors for the new perception of the reality and the new technologies, Mankind should pay some respect to those who prophetically highlighted the technological advances, people should pay respect to those whose works inspired so many people to create something new: the things that make the world a comfortable place for self-improvement for so many; in my view Mankind should pay some respect in spite of the old unchecked stories about political and other views of Sir Francis, even in case if He was an incarnated evil.

While what we see is the silent neglect towards that great heritage, unbelievable teasing in the Pirates of Caribbean in form of Lord Cutler Beckett and utilization of the great slogan "Knowledge is Power" in form of "Magic is Power" hammered under reshaped statute in the Innovated Ministry of Magic embodying the ideology of suppression of the Muggles by the Wizards in the Hurry Potter story.

When Sir Walter Scott was making efforts to republish “The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns & Fairies” following the wise advice, when Lord Bolingbrook was writing his famous letters making respectful references to Sir Francis (the letters which inspired so many to conduct fundamental political changes in the Western World), when Brave Men inspired by writings of Sir Francis established the Royal society, could they all imagine that centuries latter the things which must be respected will be neglected to such an extent that the long expected Age of Reason & Truth shall get converted into the Age of Good and not so Good Zoomorphic Sexy Furries, where negligibly educated Celebrities of the Popular Culture shall dominate over passions and world perceptions of the millions?

What if God stops to work for free?

After reading the passage below a strange idea came across my mind: what if God (as is described by the honorable B.G. -Billy Graham) shall stop to work for free? Will mankind note his 'non-existance'? The question sounds quite strange and funny (maybe), but who knows ...

The Holy Spirit is God working in our
lives

DEAR BILLY GRAHAM:
What is the Holy Spirit? I don’t come from a religious background, but I gave my life to Jesus a few months ago. Do I need to get the Holy Spirit? I don’t want to miss heaven because I failed to get something I need. — S.G.

DEAR S.G.: I’m thankful you have given your life to Christ, and I
want to assure you that you now belong to him forever. The Bible says that once
we’ve given our lives to him, nothing can separate us from his love (see Romans
8:31-39).

The Holy Spirit is God himself, as he works in our world and
in our lives. The Bible teaches that when we come to Christ and give our lives
to him, God himself comes to live within us by his Spirit. In fact, even before we come to Christ, God the Holy Spirit has already been at work in our lives, convicting us of our sin and convincing us of our need to repent and turn to Christ.

Why did God give us his Holy Spirit? One reason is to protect us from the devil’s attempts to win us back. Another reason is to give us the power we need to resist sin, and to live the way God wants us to live.
